Ketamine-Assisted Addiction Treatment

Qadir Health offers physician-supervised ketamine-assisted treatment as an adjunct to comprehensive addiction care for appropriately selected patients.

Ketamine is not offered as a stand-alone treatment. Every patient first undergoes a comprehensive physician evaluation to determine whether treatment is appropriate.

Treatment is individualized and integrated into a broader recovery plan that may include medications for addiction treatment, counseling or psychotherapy, relapse-prevention strategies, behavioral interventions, and ongoing addiction medicine follow-up.

All ketamine treatments are administered in our clinic under direct physician supervision. Patients are monitored throughout treatment and recovery before discharge.

Initial Ketamine Consultation

The initial consultation includes:

• Comprehensive addiction medicine evaluation

• Informed consent when appropriate

Ketamine treatment is not automatically administered during the initial consultation.

Initial 3-Session Treatment Series

Approximately 75–90 minutes per treatment visit

For patients beginning ketamine-assisted treatment, your physician may recommend an initial series of three treatment sessions.

The three-session series allows your physician to evaluate treatment response, tolerability, cravings, recovery progress, and whether continued ketamine treatment is clinically appropriate.

Completion of the initial series does not require you to continue treatment.

Individual Ketamine Treatment Session

$325

Approximately 75–90 minutes per visit

Individual ketamine treatment sessions are $325 per session.

This rate applies to individual treatments outside the initial three-session series and to additional sessions recommended after the initial treatment period.

There is no separate induction, consolidation, or maintenance price. Treatment frequency is based on your individual response and clinical needs rather than a predetermined long-term package.

How Often Are Treatments Scheduled?

There is no single treatment schedule that applies to every patient.

Sessions may be scheduled closer together at the beginning of treatment and spaced farther apart as treatment progresses.

Your physician will determine treatment frequency based on factors including:

• Substance being treated
• Cravings
• Substance use or abstinence
• Recovery stability
• Relapse risk
• Duration of benefit after each treatment
• Functional improvement
• Side effects and tolerability
• Participation in the remainder of your addiction treatment plan

Depending on the substance use disorder being treated, initial sessions may be scheduled approximately weekly or at other clinically appropriate intervals.

The number and frequency of treatments may be increased, reduced, spaced farther apart, or discontinued based on your response.

There is no requirement to continue ketamine treatment indefinitely.

Every standard ketamine treatment includes:

There are no additional medication or routine facility fees for a standard treatment session.

Pricing at a Glance

The $75 consultation credit applies only toward the Initial 3-Session Treatment Series when ketamine treatment is medically appropriate and the patient elects to proceed.

• Treatment is available only after physician evaluation and approval.
• Ketamine is administered only in the clinic under physician supervision.
• Patients must arrange transportation home following every ketamine treatment.
• Patients should not drive, operate machinery, consume alcohol, sign legal documents, or make important decisions for the remainder of the treatment day.
• Treatment frequency, dose, and duration are individualized according to physician assessment, clinical response, and patient safety.
• Patients who do not demonstrate meaningful clinical benefit after an appropriate treatment trial may be advised to discontinue ketamine or consider alternative treatment approaches.
• Ketamine-assisted treatment does not replace established medications for addiction treatment when those medications are clinically indicated.

Medication Sourcing

Qadir Health obtains ketamine through licensed pharmaceutical suppliers.

Commercially manufactured ketamine is used whenever available. During periods of limited commercial availability or manufacturer shortage, an appropriately licensed compounded formulation may be used when clinically appropriate and permitted by applicable regulations.
